
JOEL MCDONALD
Joel McDonald has been acting for over thirty years and directing VO for twelve. Most of his directing career so far was spent at Funimation, where he directed shows like One Piece, Space Dandy, Sgt. Frog, Big Windup, and many more. He's also appeared as Aoyama in My Hero Academia, Phichit Chulanont in Yuri!!! on Ice, Ronald Knox in Black Butler, Takumi in Initial D, Zeref in Fairy Tale, Meow in Space Dandy, and others. Joel made the move to video games in February of 2018 and is now working as Gearbox Software's very first VOverlord, where he runs auditions, oversees casting, and directs VO for all in-house Gearbox properties.

Jim Foronda
Jim is a Texas-based voice actor. A former ad copywriter, Jim began voice acting while writing commercials for Hasbro Toys, occasionally being tasked with voicing characters like Optimus Prime and Mr. Potato Head in toy ads. Since then, hes been all manner of person, monster, robot, and well, anything in games like the Borderlands franchise, Battleborn, SMITE, Killing Floor 2, Hero Academy, and Dungeon Boss. (This year, hes super-excited to be voicing Claptrap in Borderlands 3.) Anime-wise, he can be heard in Black Clover, My Hero Academia, That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime, Fullmetal Alchemist, Fairy Tail, One Piece, and more. In his spare time, Jim enjoys photography, games of the video and tabletop variety, occasional trips to Japan, building LEGO stuff, and working on a novel that he will probably never, ever finish. Diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when he was 8 years old, Jim wears an insulin pump. By medical definition that totally makes him an actual, for real cyborg. He has yet to jump over a house or lift an automobile with his bare hands.

Kamen Cassey
Kamen Casey graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX and earned his BFA in Theatre – specializing in Acting. He’s on the rise in the voiceover world with characters in titles like: Reo Mikage in “Blue Lock,” Duke in “I’ll Become a Villainess,” Jade Scrade in “I May Be a Guild Receptionist,” Kyouya in “A Sign of Affection”, Jaki in “One Piece”, Kaede in “Free!” and more. Kamen has appeared on TV and in films that have played in the movie theaters, Netflix, Paramount Plus, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. He’s landed a principle role in 20+ commercials – you also may have seen him in the commercial world selling Go Daddy, Kay Jeweler’s, and even Degree deodorant. He’s a 3rd Degree Black Belt in the Chuck Norris System, and he used those skills to win FOX’s Superhuman game show. Kamen also started making his own independent films when he was 15 and has received film festival accolades in the states and internationally. He was also recently the acting on camera professor at TCU. He offers a lovely selection of panels and programming focused around Stunt Choreography and Commercial VO, supported by his years of experience!

Mason Lieberman
“Mason Lieberman is an award-winning composer, audio director, and producer known for his contributions to the gaming and anime zeitgeist. He prides himself on being a problem-solver whose biggest passion is always to connect people through music. Beginning his professional journey as a freelance composer, he got his start composing on anime series like Rooster Teeth’s RWBY and Beyblade Burst Evolution, amongst many others. His music has enhanced the heroics of franchises like Spider-Man, Mobile Suit Gundam, Ultraman, and Neon Genesis Evangelion, while lending epic gravitas to titles like Overwatch 2, League of Legends: Wild Rift, PUBG Mobile, Apex Legends Mobile, Teamfight Tactics, EVO, Omega Strikers, Unico, Eden, Game for Peace, Mobile Legends Bang Bang, Devil Engine, Soundfall, Bread & Fred, Renaine, and many others. As a cellist, guitarist, and vocalist, Mason has had the great pleasure of working with a wide variety of film and gaming franchises, with personal favorites including Pokémon, Kaiju #8, Stars Wars: Visions, The Rising of the Shield Hero, Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. franchise, Riot Games’ League of Legends, Guild Wars 2, AMC’s The Walking Dead, Made in Abyss, Arknights, Tower of God, Warhammer: Vermintide, the Grammy-nominated Stray Gods, Sega’s Sin Chronicle, Hell’s Kitchen, and God Eater. As a public speaker, Mason Lieberman has addressed passionate audiences on subjects related to film scoring, anime music production, video game scoring, and music theory. He has lectured academically at acclaimed academic programs like Harvard University, UCLA, Musicians Institute and Berklee College of Music, industry-leading conferences like NAMM, SXSW, GDC, and GameSoundCon, and many others. He is a member of faculty at the University of Southern California, where he lectures on video game audio for the School of Cinematic Arts’ Interactive Media and Games department. He is also a member of faculty at Berklee College of Music, where he teaches in the Screen Scoring program on subjects surrounding video game scoring, film scoring, and the business of being a composer in the modern media landscape. In 2019, he partnered with Asia Pacific government officials as an international ambassador to Australia representing the video-game music industry. He was thrilled to present the official Cowboy Bebop charity single, ‘The Real Folk Blues’, in collaboration with Funimation, Sunrise, featuring special guest artists like Yoko Kanno and the Seatbelts, Steve Blum, and many, many more. This original arrangement hit #6 on Billboard global Digital song sales chart, as well as #1 on rock charts in Japan. In 2021, he shared the ‘Best Score’ award at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards with the rest of the team of ‘Tower of God’. He also received the 2020 GANG award for “Best Casual or Social Game Audio” for his contributions to Tencent’s wildly-popular ‘Game for Peace’ soundtrack. He was honored to be a part of the Forbes 30 under 30, Gaming category for the 2022 list. In 2023, he won the Hollywood Music in Media award for “Best Game Score – Mobile” for his work as a composer and music director for Game for Peace. He is currently in-house as a senior composer and game audio supervisor for Tencent, the largest video-game company in the world. In this position, he has the indescribable honor of working with many of the best audio professionals in the industry on a daily basis.

Melanie Jasmine, a celebrated costume maker and cosplayer from the DFW area, is dedicated to bringing beloved video game and comic book characters to life with stunning accuracy and creativity. Known as MJasmine in the cosplay community, Melanie specializes in crafting intricate designs using pleather, vinyl, knits, and unconventional materials, pushing the boundaries of traditional cosplay. A passionate educator, Melanie travels across the United States, sharing her wealth of knowledge and expertise through engaging panels, discussions, and workshops. In addition to her educational endeavors, Melanie Jasmine is a prominent figure at the Dallas Makerspace, where she serves as the committee chair for the esteemed cosplay and costuming club. Here, she dedicates her time to teaching sewing and costume-making techniques, fostering a supportive community of like-minded creators. Beyond her cosplay pursuits, Melanie is a devoted feline enthusiast with four cherished cats who have inspired her to apply her sewing prowess in crafting whimsical fantasy costumes for each of them. With a blend of talent, passion, and a touch of whimsy, Melanie Jasmine continues to captivate audiences and inspire fellow cosplayers worldwide.

RICCO FAJARDO
Ricco Fajardo is an actor best known for his work in anime and video games. Mirio in My Hero Academia, Taiju in Dr.STONE, Nozel in Black Clover, Kotaro in Zombieland Saga, Genkins in Red vs Blue, God in The Cyanide & Happiness Show, Achilles in Smite, Corvus in Paladins, Maxime in Tales of Luminaria, and Shiki Taishou in Genshin's Impact. Recently, you can also see him on-screen in Hulus Cruel Summer and CWs Walker. He studied acting and received his MFA from SMU (pony up!) and BA from UC Irvine (zot, zot!). He spends his free time practicing parkour in Dallas, alongside his chonk cats Rocky, Ollie and Belle.
