Community is at the forefront of our minds these days. It's important for us to bring people together to celebrate our artistic ideals, differences, and embrace what makes us all individuals. The Furry Fandom has been instrumental in allowing individuals to express themselves and to create some of the most diverse mixed media in the world. Our focus is to take those individuals and celebrate them further through AnthroExpo. Oklahoma has long been home to many outdoor Furry Conventions, and finally the call has been answered for us to open a hotel convention to allow the great members of our community and fandom to bring their ideas to life in an expo that will be unlike any other. AnthroExpo strives to be the game-changer in Furry Conventions and bring about a renewed sense of community.

The Winter Renaissance Faire, by the producers of the Vermont Renaissance Faire, Vermont Living History Expo, and Fantasy Masquerade Ball, is a family-friendly event for all ages, featuring performance troupes including singers, musicians, acrobats and dancers; as well as medieval and Viking demonstrations of life on the battlefields of the old world. With artisans and craft vendors—both local and from across New England—as well as mead, wine and, cider makers (including our sponsor Groennfell Meadery) patrons can find fascinating items and indulge their appetites with tasty treats from cultures around the world. This year, the Winter Renaissance Faire will be held two days at the Champlain Valley Exposition, giving us more room and parking space for the attendees of this fabulous event.

Kanpai!Con is a community-focused annual Japanese cultural appreciation convention, with a focus on anime, manga, and Japanese video gaming. Come to socialize with new friends in various settings, including our formal ball, room parties, and concerts. Wear your cosplay, meet incredible special guests, and have fun in a family-friendly convention setting.

Ushicon is an 18+ only anime convention, celebrating our 15th year February 7-9, 2020. DAYS OF THE DEAD is a by the fans, for the fans, convention which had its inaugural show July 1st - 3rd, 2011, at the Wyndham Indianapolis West, located in Indianapolis, IN, and has since expanded into a total of five cities nationwide (CHICAGO, INDIANAPOLIS, LAS VEGAS, LAS VEGAS, DALLAS, CHARLOTTE, and ATLANTA). BASHCon is a nerd culture convention that takes place in February at the University of Toledo. BASHCon started in 1985 as a small gaming convention under the name of “Winterfest”. With the help of the community, BASHCon went from a small University event, to a convention that people from different parts of the country come in to see. BASHCon features a variety of events, including: panels, video and card game tournaments, anime screenings, arcade, board games, RPGs, and LARP. Every year brings new and exciting things!

Katsucon is an annual 3-day fan convention held in the D.C. metro area for multicultural enthusiasts and entertainment.

Gallifrey One is the world’s largest and longest-running annual Doctor Who fan convention, a tradition in North American Doctor Who fandom since 1990. Taking place every February over Presidents’ Day Weekend at the Marriott Los Angeles Airport Hotel, our next annual convention, The 31 Flavours of Gallifrey One, will take place February 14-16, 2020. Tickets for our 2020 convention are STILL AVAILABLE at the cost of $110 for adults, $60 for teens (age 12-16) and $30 for children (ages 3-11); children under 3 are always free. Our goal is to provide students and the Florida community with gaming activities, cosplay, anime, tabletop, and most importantly FUN. We want to create a safe-space for gamers. We seek to connect students from colleges and universities as well as the general community.

The Arizona Matsuri is an annual festival which celebrates Japanese culture and heritage, traditional and modern. The two-day event held at Steele Indian School Park in central Phoenix features the sights and sounds of Japan, art, crafts, music, dance and much more. The family friendly Matsuri is free to all. Japanese food and goods from over 60 vendors are available for purchase and the beer and sake garden is a great place to relax. The Arizona Matsuri was first held in 1984 and will be celebrating its 36th anniversary in February 2020.
