What started as a 1-day “Homecoming” for the local residents has now evolved into a 4-day celebration that attracts Superman Fans and families from around the world. 47 States and 6 different countries were represented at the 2016 Celebration. 2017 marks the 45th year that Metropolis, IL has been designated as the adopted “Home of Superman.” As we move towards our 41st Annual Superman Celebration, we reflect on the years that started our journey and the phenomenon that it has become. The 41st Annual Superman Celebration kicks off at 5 pm on Thursday, June 6th and runs through 2 pm on Sunday, June 9th. Many special events are planned for this year’s Celebration including musical entertainment, a carnival, Superman Celebrity Autograph and Q & A Sessions, and the Heroes & Villains Costume Contest. We also have some special touches that will make this year the year to visit our celebration – whether it is your first time with us, or you are a returning fan!

OMG!Con is a 501(c) non-profit anime and gaming convention from Owensboro, Ky. We started out in 2006 as a small convention in Paducah, Ky when our founders and some friends realized they could begin a journey into making a convention locally for others to enjoy just like they had had the pleasure of attending. In 2014, the founders and the staff for the convention decided that they could better serve attendees and provide the fun, accepting atmosphere to more people by moving out of Paducah and to Owensboro.

Good news, everyone! Mighty Con is marching triumphantly back into St. Louis! On June 22nd, Mighty Con will be bringing the show to the Saint Charles Convention Center in St. Charles, MO. The St. Louis Comic Con will feature over 100 artist tables, vendor booths, and special guests. But we’re also bringing cash prize cosplay contests, video and table top gaming tournaments, and a whole weekend of fun! St. Louis' largest comic book and pop culture event!
