~ Portgas D. Ace/Fire Fist Ace/Captain of the Spade Pirates/2nd Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates - One Piece My 2nd One Piece Cosplay! Creating this cosplay was very fun, very simple, & totally stress free. I was able to wear Ace to my FIRST EVER HolMat & I had a blast at this cozy Xmas Con🥰 This cosplay was extra special because it was part of my first matching cosplay that I did with my little brother, who was dressed as Monkey D. Luffy. I'm totally rockin the piratey vibes with this year's cosplans!! I love all the good vibes that his character brings. He's genuinely a good dude supporting his found family & his own ambitions from the ground up. Ace deserves the WORLD🌍💖 ~ Holiday Matsuri 2024 - Friday Dec. 20th

Almost every one of my cosplays starts with the wig! Prioritizing makeup is also a must, so as a Pro MUA I had to make this big!

WIG
I bought this long curly pink wig online hoping that once straightened the length would only increase, and it did! After straightening the wig, using a flat iron and heat protectant, I styled the wig into place. I made sure the bangs and front fringe were parted and cut. I wanted the bangs to be really big and fluffy, so experimenting with the wig took some trial and error before realizing I could tease it. Heat and teasing helped create the 2nd rendition of this wig that has 3-4 layers of bangs instead of 2 as seen in the first few pics. Also, I butchered the front hairline the first time so I used some scrap pink felt and remaining cut pink hair strands to create these dainty and light strands right in the middle.

MAKEUP
The makeup concept was easy to come up with as I knew what colors and dimensions would fit star. I let my natural skin tone shine through with the use of orange and pink shadows used as highlight, contour, blush, brows, lips, and of course eyeshadow. I created these bigger/wider eye creases and applied a pop of bright green glitter to the inner corners and centers of my eyelids. To further exaggerate the look, The black winged liner was extra thick and pointy.
