The city of Vancouver, British Columbia was home to the Stargate franchise for 14 years of television production — and today it’s still home to Gatecon, the original Stargate fan convention. Entirely run by fans, Gatecon held its first event back in the year 2000. That makes next year’s convention the organization’s twentieth anniversary. This past weekend the dial-home device started to light up once again, as organizers announced the dates and initial guest list for Gatecon: Full Circle.
