Ashlynn Ree AKA “Ashhdraws”, is a 19 year old completely self taught, artist. She began her art career as a very curious & outgoing 1 year old. She would sit at the kitchen table with her grandfather, and they would take turns drawing lines with a crayon & a piece of paper until they created a picture. Her passion for art blossomed from there. Ashlynn is also a digital artist & graphic designer for movies & production companies as well. She has also appeared in movies, but her passion is graphic design/digital art. Ashlynn is part of “Team Brick” & does concept art for “The Brick” himself, Marcus Mauldin, from Borderlands. She continued to draw & work on her craft, constantly studying & fine tuning. She would save up her money from chores & birthdays, to buy herself things she needed to be able to teach herself how to transition from sketching & painting on canvas, to digital art, where she has now mastered her craft. One day, she was drawing on a computer in the Microsoft store & was noticed by the community development specialist for her talent. From there, she was a special guest for Microsoft every month or so. Microsoft set up special meet & greets for her fans to be able to meet her & watch her draw live, on the big screen. She attended several cons with Microsoft, including Tulsa Pop & Tokyo in Tulsa for several years. She held the largest panel at Tokyo In Tulsa, on digital art, that was the largest Microsoft had ever had. Ashlynn was offered a full ride scholarship to college for art, but the director told her that she is already drawing on a level above what they teach.

That game was Borderlands and the character in question was Brick. GearBox brought Marcus back for Borderlands 2 where Brick became known as "The Slab King". Due to this, Marcus was nominated in the Best Vocals in a Video Game category for the Behind the Voice Actor Awards. Marcus has continued his iconic role of Brick in Borderlands the Pre-quel, Tales from the Borderlands, the recently released Borderlands 3 plus the Brick and Tiny Tina DLCs Assault on Dragon's Keep and Bunkers and Badasses.
